Active Wrexham Cross Country Event –
Pupils from Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 took part in an Active Wrexham Cross Country Event with other Wrexham schools at Alyn Waters on Tuesday. Congratulations to Demi-Lea (Year 6) for winning the Year 5/6 Girls category and congratulations to Emily (Year 5) for coming second. We took pupils from Years 3-6 who ran the quickest times during our practices. Well done to Elijah Taylor (Year 3), Freya Pera, Olive Prince, Mali Jones, Jack Kyffin and Jax Foulkes (Year 4), Archie Barnett, Cole Brooke, Noah Bowley, Emily Evans, Seren Worthington, Raya Roberts (Year 5), Demi-Lea Samuels, Cadi Jones, Reggie Foulkes and Bentley Leighton (Year 6). All of the pupils completed the race which was 1.25 miles. They have all been awarded a certificate from Active Wrexham in Assembly today. If your child is interested in running – There is a parkrun for children aged 4-14 held at Alyn Waters every Sunday. This is a free event.
