News: Information for the return to school

Good Morning everyone,
We hope you have had a lovely half term break; we look forward to welcoming the pupils back to school on Monday 28th February.
We have a busy week planned for the children around our Welsh culture.
A reminder that we will be celebrating St Davids’s Day on Tuesday 1st March and pupils may come to school on this day in Traditional Welsh costume or colours of the Welsh flag.
We will be holding our Eisteddfod for pupils at the end of the week and look forward to receiving entries of a decorated fairy cake in a Welsh theme. The entries may be brought into school on Monday 28th February with the children or by 9am at the latest on Tuesday 1st March as we will be judging them on this day.
Due to our busy timetable and Eisteddfod during the week, we will be celebrating World Book day next week on Thursday 10th March. Children may come to school dressed as a character from a book and each class will be promoting reading and fun reading activities during the day.
We look forward to a busy and exciting term.
Have a good weekend.
Regards
Mrs Green and staff at Ysgol Cefn Mawr CP
