New rugby kit !

Both the boys and girls rugby squad tried on their new rugby tops today! They all look really smart! We cant wait to play in them. We have a rugby festival at The Rock on the 2oth May and the Crusaders Cup in June. Come on Cefn!

Easter competitions

Foundation Phase had an Easter bonnet parade this afternoon. Year 5 Visit to Ysgol Rhiwabon 23.3.16

Year 5 went on a visit to Ysgol Rhiwabon to make rocket cars. Their behaviour was excellent and they all enjoyed making their cars and testing them on the test track. Sarae was the winner today with a speed of 29 miles per hour. They were all surprised by a gift of an Easter Egg each. Ysgol Cefn Mawr v St.Peters, Rossett

Glanllyn update

The children have been very well behaved and have all enjoyed themselves. They have archery and canoeing this morning, and will be leaving after lunch. They will arrive back at school at approximately 2:30pm. You are welcome to collect your child at this time.

Year 2 St David’s Day parade

We had a fantastic time this afternoon at the St David’s Day parade! The children walked through the town waving their Welsh flags! Year 2: Visit from PC Kim

NSPCC Childline visit Years 5 and 6

Year 5 Christmas Cookery Club

Cookery club have been making their very own Christmas Cakes ! Over the next two weeks, the children will be designing and creating the decoration for their cakes and can look forward to taking them home at the end of term.  More pictures of the finished products to follow ! Mrs Hughes

Outstanding discipline, behaviour and skills shown by both our boys and girls rugby teams today. Both 3-0 and 2-0 winners against Ysgol Min y Ddol. Four great tries from Kos and Milan and great tries from Rowan and Jorja. Da iawn pawb!
