Year 5 went on a visit to Ysgol Rhiwabon to make rocket cars. Their behaviour was excellent and they all enjoyed making their cars and testing them on the test track. Sarae was the winner today with a speed of 29 miles per hour. They were all surprised by a gift of an Easter Egg each. Nursery, Reception, Year 1 & Year 2 enjoyed the Fflic a Fflic show this afternoon! They knew lots of the Welsh phrases and songs in the show. It was really funny! We also had a class photo with Fflic a Fflac. Thank you to parents for contributing £2 towards the cost of the show.
A reminder that Year 5 (Miss Stenning) will be holding their Class Assembly for parents tomorrow at 2.00 pm. We hope you are able to attend to see the children’s hard work.
Unfortunately the event has been postponed due to weather conditions. We hope to arrange another day in 2 weeks. We will keep you posted.
Foundation Phase had an Easter bonnet parade this afternoon. A reminder that tomorrow we play St.Peter’s Primary School on the MUGA at 3.30p.m. It is our first football match in the William Aston Cup. I’m sure it will be a great game! The children have been very well behaved and have all enjoyed themselves. They have archery and canoeing this morning, and will be leaving after lunch. They will arrive back at school at approximately 2:30pm. You are welcome to collect your child at this time.
Glanllyn Update: The children are all having a good time. They have been on the climbing wall, swimming had the falconry display, bingo and have been to the disco. Hope they sleep tonight!

We had a fantastic time this afternoon at the St David’s Day parade! The children walked through the town waving their Welsh flags!
